Tracy rauk, PT, DPT,

Tracy Rauk PT, DPT received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, Colorado. She is originally from Northern Idaho and attended Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington where she achieved her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and set for the university's volleyball team. Tracy developed her interest in gait mechanics and rehabilitation working as a technician at The Gait Center in 2009 and was driven to pursue her Doctorate and continue her education as a physical therapy student with the Comprehensive Combat and Complex Casualty Care Amputee Unit in San Diego.
Since achieving her DPT, Tracy spent 6 years in Colorado developing and managing two amputee and gait rehabilitation programs in Colorado Springs and Denver, guest lectured at prosthetic and physical therapy conferences, and actively volunteered her gait training skills with the Range of Motion Project in Guatemala.
After a year of traveling across the globe and newly married to a Richmond native, Tracy has found herself back at The Gait Center, where her passion for rehabilitation began. She is excited to be a part of this great team of therapists and strives to help empower her patients to keep moving at their highest level. Tracy is also active as the Director of Curriculum Development for the Mission Gait Foundation, a non-profit organization here in Richmond that strives to bring education and opportunities to those working with gait pathology. Throughout her experience she has become passionate about the independence, health, and confidence that mobility provides each of us.
Tracy loves adventuring the world with her husband, Jonathan, teaching her son Henry to walk, run, and dance, and exploring the Virginia trails with her mutt, Greg.
