Yes, we treat Shoulders!
At first glance, it might seem odd to talk about shoulder rehabilitation at a clinic called The Gait Center. But, it is important to understand that our highly trained therapists treat the entire body, and we help alarge number of patients with diagnoses such as shoulder impingement, tendonitis, bursitis, rotator cuffrepair, frozen shoulder, etc. What draws patients to us is a combination of the expertise and focusedtime our team brings to each patient, no matter the diagnosis; combined with our patient carephilosophy and a vast array of resources.
It is true that our entire team at The Gait Center has a passion to help patients with injuries or illnessesthat affect their ability to walk because there are so few other options for people. However, all of ourtherapists come from a variety of backgrounds where they were fully trained, educated, and gainedexperience and skilled expertise treating other parts of the human body including shoulders. They havebeen successfully treating shoulders, and other body parts, throughout their careers, and are pleased tocontinue that service here where they are given the time to do it right!
We often have former “gait patients” ask if we would help them with a new problem, unrelated to gait.It is because they came to us in the past, and after experiencing the difference in the level of care weprovide, they didn’t want to go anywhere else for therapy. Physicians also often ask us, because theywere so impressed with our successful outcomes for their leg injury patients, would we consider helpingtheir shoulder patients as well??. . .and the answer is a resounding yes!!
