Sarah Davis, PT, DPT
Sarah earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, in 2017. Prior to graduate school, she attended the University of Virginia, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Neuroscience. While at UVA, she worked with the Virginia sports teams as a student athletic trainer, taught nursing students anatomy as a lab teacher's assistant, and worked as a therapy tech in inpatient rehab.
During her time at VCU, Sarah worked as a research assistant for her professor investigating post op rehab after a total knee replacement, spent summers teaching high school kids about the physical therapy career path, and completed additional education related to vestibular disorders. She completed her clinical training in acute care, outpatient neuro-rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedics. Sarah enjoys working with a wide range of patient populations, she especially enjoys treating patients with dizziness and balance issues, educating patients with amputations, and instructing people to learn to walk again and regain their confidence to return to activities they enjoy. When Sarah is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog at their home in Bon Air. They spend their weekends fixing up their home, entertaining friends in their backyard, and exploring Richmond through food and events.
